Croftwood Haus (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides lead generation and marketing services to foundation repair, drainage and waterproofing contractors. This policy explains what personal information we collect through croftwoodhaus.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Croftwood Haus is a trading name of Thomas Ian Mason Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12888098). Because we are a UK company serving clients in Canada, we handle personal information in accordance with both the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, and with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Where the two regimes differ, we apply the stricter standard.

When you book a call or contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide. This typically includes:

- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your company name and website
- Information about your business, such as annual revenue, crew capacity and current lead sources
- Anything else you include in a message

When you visit the site, we and our service providers may collect:
- Your IP address and approximate location (city or region level)

- Pages you viewed, how you arrived at the site, and how long you stayed
- Referring website or advertisement
Telephone calls
If you call a tracked telephone number shown on this site, the call may be recorded and the number you called from may be logged. Where a call is recorded you will be told at the start of the call, and you may ask us not to record it.

Some of these providers store and process data outside the UK and outside Canada, including in the United States. Your information may be accessible to courts and law enforcement in those countries under their laws.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 24 months, then deleted
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement and for 6 years afterwards, to meet UK company and tax requirements
- Call recordings: up to 12 months
- Website analytics: as set by the analytics provider, typically 14 months
How we protect it
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will tell you promptly if a breach occurs that creates a real risk of significant harm, as PIPEDA requires.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask for a copy of it
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time
- Ask us to restrict or object to how we use it
- Ask for a portable copy of the information you gave us
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia

Children
This site is for business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
